The River
Playing in the leaves in the Autumn brought some interesting insights. The veins echoed the paths of watersheds, channels formed by water in its' journey to a larger channel. The interstices were interesting places to find a bird portrait, a garden design, a patterned field, a pond. I began to think about veins as carriers of water in leaves and in my own body and I remembered that we are all related.
