Saul Alegria's 'A Brown Horse' shows a wild and active creature, and I think harks to Thomas Hart Benton, Jr. in the nature of the drawing. I loved the lively look in this horse's eyes. I can almost hear it snort.
Saul and NIAD will both receive a portion of the sale price of this work.
