Confluence was created during an international collaborative design-and-weave project. In September of 2022, I met with 14 other weavers from Scotland, Ireland, UK, Netherlands, Canada, Kansas, California, Missouri and Washington, US. We celebrated our rivers, learned to weave reflections and ripples, considered our climate, and the changes we are entering or enduring. The resulting tapestries were hung side by side, aligned by a gleaming gold and silver "Waterline." Exhibitions included Farfield Mills in Sedbergh, UK, and Gairloch Museum, Scotland.
